The Governors at St. Francis’ Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Co-ordinator 6.33 hours, 38 weeks per year

Salary, Scale 2, £3,134

Applicants will need to:

  • Be enthusiastic
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have a willingness to listen
  • Be able to work on their own
  • Be able to use their initiative
  • Be able to support children and colleagues
  • Have experience of working with children
  • Love working with children and supporting their families
  • Be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Be prepared to be First Aid trained

This post will include:-

  • Supervising children in the dining hall and classrooms
  • Assisting children with good table manners and lunchtime courtesy
  • Organising games and play opportunities
  • Being imaginative and creative while promoting positive play and social inclusion
  • Helping children to resolve disputes
  • Dealing with behaviour in accordance with school’s behaviour policy
