We are looking to appoint a dedicated and reflective Learning Mentor, who is confident they have good practice, to join our hardworking pastoral team.  Working closely and collaboratively with teaching and other staff to support pupil wellbeing and progression, your role will be crucial in identifying barriers to learning and to participate in plans of action to remove any such barriers.

You must be able to develop 1:1 mentoring relationships with pupils identified as requiring this support, and capable of problem-solving and implementing agreed actions.  Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.  We welcome applications if you are:

  • passionate about children’s enjoyment of learning
  • determined to help raise standards
  • hardworking and dedicated, and
  • able to build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and their parents/carer

Previous experience of working with primary age children is required.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  Subsequently the successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
