Scale 2 Unqualified Scale 3 Qualified
Term Time Only
As we continue to grow, we are currently looking to recruit a new member of support staff who can join our team. This person would be focused on supporting our special needs children. We would love to have a chat, whether you are just starting out in education or have years of experience.
We love to talk about our children and our school and we would love to chat to you about why this could be your next career move.
At Kensington, our children are at the heart of everything we do. In practice, this means we carefully consider whether everything from marking to displays impact on learning and, where they do not, we change them. All our staff focus their time on what really makes a difference for our children: not paperwork or pointless tasks!
Our community and our children are fully committed to their learning:
- 100% of parents would recommend the school to another parent
- 97% of parents say the school makes sure its pupils are well behaved
- 99% of parents say their child is happy at the school.
(200 parents; October 2019 survey)
Unparalleled career development
We are fully committed to helping you grow and develop. Our tailored CPD programmes provide clear pathways for your development, all supported by a dedicated coach. We have supported many of our teaching assistants to develop in their role and many others to progress on to future careers in education. If this is your ambition, we would be delighted to support you.
Making a difference
At Kensington, you truly are making a difference. Many of our children have recently arrived in this country, others face substantial challenges. Whatever their background, school is often their sanctuary. They are incredibly eager to learn, make astounding progress, and repay your dedication with a faultless attitude to their work.
