Temporary position from immediate effect to end of July with view to extend from September 2020


Monday – Friday, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm including lunch and break times (36 hours per week)


Salary Scale 1 pt 3 (£11.10 per hour)


Roman Road Primary School is a modern, innovative well resourced school, teaching a vibrant and creative curriculum with a focus on the creative arts.  We have been judged to be a good school by Ofsted (December 2017).


We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and committed individual/s to fulfil the role as School Cleaner.


Your main duties will involve regular cleaning of:-


  • Halls
  • Floors
  • Tables
  • Lavatories
  • Sinks
  • Windows/doors
  • Both outside and inside play equipment including the school farm


In addition you may be working with children during our lunch break.  Duties could include supervising children in the lunch queue, dining hall, classroom and playground.


The successful candidate should be able to work as part of a team, use their initiative and communicate well with staff.
