If yes, then we need you to unleash your powers through all the schools working with and in partnership with The Tapscott Learning Trust. The Tapscott Learning Trust is looking for that exceptional, unique person who will be able to see the strength and potential in our families in need and help draw these qualities out so they may gain confidence to stand on their own two feet. You will be working in a range of schools throughout the working week and alongside holding your own caseload, you will support the teams in the schools in their endeavour to support families and the Early Help offer. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and meticulous Family Support Worker who will help strengthen and support all the Trust schools in the work they do to support families. You will be supported by the Family Support Team at Rebecca Cheetham Nursery and Children’s Centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of capacity, resilience and independence of families with young children. They will strive to improve outcomes for children and their families, with a particular focus on the most disadvantaged families.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are required in this role as is ability for manage caseloads effectively and maintaining up-to-date case notes.
Candidates must have an exceptional background in Family Support, ideally in Newham, in order to support hard to reach and complex cases.
