The school wishes to appoint dedicated and reflective higher level teaching assistant, who is confident that they have good practice to join our enthusiastic, hard-working team. The successful individual will join our Inclusion Team and work collaboratively with the Inclusion Manager to support some of our most vulnerable pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential. You must have a passion for achieving outstanding outcomes for all.
The post is primarily for supporting pupils with special educational needs, so experience of supporting SEN pupils is desirable. It is non class based but some whole class and group teaching will be required.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, and also able to work collaboratively. You will also need:
- HLTA qualification
- Commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes from all pupils
- High level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a strong team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
